In Oct 2023 their volunteer, Sarah, spoke at our breakfast meeting about the community garden they were establishing in Camp Hill. They had received a donation of 2 water tanks but didn’t have the resources to install them.

Two weeks later some of our enthusiastic & knowledgeable members joined forces with their garden crew & collectively created a solid base for the tanks, then manoeuvred them into position. Later that week, shortly after the pump was connected, it rained heavily & soon the tanks were full. The camaraderie of our Club & the garden crew escalated after one of our members, Charlie, put his landscape designs expertise on paper and created a plan for the entire space. Fast forward to May 2024 and the raised garden beds are underway. Support posts were installed and in June, 50 corporate volunteers from Ernst & Young will complete & fill the beds. Watch this space.
